caveat lector

these words were not meant to be written down, or for that matter, typed.  being a moderatley intelligent 20 year old, there are millions of thoughts that enter and exit my head on any given day.  some are dwelled upon, others lost in the endless abyss that is my mind.  this blog, (which should not have to had a “1″ added on to the url because some jackass stole my idea) is a creation and consolidation of my thoughts of the day, hour, minute, who knows.  these thoughts are rants, raves, bitchings and moanings, praises and celebrations, musings and ideas.  they are sure to be provoking, thoughtful, and conflicting.  there will be flip flopping and many changes of opinion.  who can honestly say they have held the same convictions their entire life without change or adjustment?  i know i cant.  i will try not to make these blog entries more than just  stream-of-conscious jibba jabba, but there will be no promises. 

 there is a word on the tip of my tongue right now that i want to use in the epic list of adjectives i have created to describe what this blog could be.  it starts with a C.  fuck.  am i allowed to curse?  i guess it is my blog, but and i am typing in all lowercase.  so its not like i have any credibility to lose.  im just a 20, almost 21 year old american boy who is not a master of any sort of subject field.  except maybe drinking beer and making an ass out of myself.  thats about the only thing i am an emperor of.  i still can’t think of this word.  once i do, i will be ecstatic. 

 CONTROVERSAL!  eureka!  watson i’ve found it!  this blog could be controversal…at least to me.  i’m sure it would have sounded better with the whole ‘yin-yang’ adjective thing i was doing in the first paragraph. 

anyhoo, i’m excited to continue to share with the world my thoughts, ideas, and everything else that i can type down.  i already have a whole bunch of ideas that will be blogged in the upcoming days, weeks, or whatever time and schoolwork/tests will allow.  some topics will include… MLB 2008 season projections, the new york mets, the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford, my music project (appropriatley titled call it in the air), fast food nation, beer, florida, God and Christianity, london, and many, many reactions/reviews of different music and bands and songs.  music and sports are my two passions that will be mentioned many-a-time.  until next time.  goodluck and Godspeed.
